{"id":821,"date":"2015-12-16T14:16:03","date_gmt":"2015-12-16T20:16:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/alumninewsletter\/?p=821"},"modified":"2015-12-18T10:16:10","modified_gmt":"2015-12-18T16:16:10","slug":"career-tip-mentoring-network-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/alumninewsletter\/2015\/12\/16\/career-tip-mentoring-network-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Career Tip: Mentoring Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Holidays from the Career Services Office!\u00a0 I wanted to provide you with specific instructions on how to get registered with our mentoring network, as discussed in the last issue.<\/p>\n<p>Your access to the<strong> Mentoring Network <\/strong>is available to you through the links on your Alumni Central account homepage.\u00a0 You can search for mentors and also join the Mentoring Network.<\/p>\n<p>Simply log on to your account through the <strong>Alumni<\/strong> icon on our school\u2019s CCN homepage and <strong>Sign In<\/strong>.\u00a0 You will need the password (mustang) to access the Mentoring Network.<\/p>\n<p>Registering a profile is easy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegecentral.com\/morningside\">http:\/\/www.collegecentral.com\/morningside<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the icon labeled <strong>Alumni<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under \u201cAbout Our Services\u201d, choose the link for <strong>Mentoring Network<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the link for <strong>Join Our Mentoring Network.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Access is password protected.\u00a0 Our password is <strong>mustang<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the link for <strong>Add My Mentoring Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the profile form.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure to make a record of the <strong>Mentoring Network Password<\/strong> and the personal <strong>Access ID and Password <\/strong>you create for yourself.\u00a0 You will need these to access your profile in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We value your privacy!<\/strong>\u00a0 Students and alumni will be able to send messages to you without knowing your e-mail address.
