Many Morningside College alumni offer these experiences for students and often share the experience they had with others.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mark Stuck, 1975 Morningside graduate, is the senior vice president and the branch manager for Baird Private Wealth Management offices in Sioux City and Sioux Falls. He has been a financial advisor for more than 25 years.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe most key thing that we have done recently with the college was we had an intern with us,\u201d said Stuck. \u201cHe would tell you that probably my first words to him were I don\u2019t like interns because interns take a lot of extra time. Josh Doering was our intern and he brought an excitement. He brought an energy level into our office, which was great. Having him be a junior, you always think freshman, sophomore year, what could he know? He knows a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After having Doering over the summer as an intern, Stuck has changed his thoughts on internships and plans on doing another one again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis (Doering\u2019s) education and preparation, he stepped in and was able to take the things that he knew and the things that we could help him and teach him, combine those together to where he had a great experience this summer,\u201d said Stuck. \u201cIt drew me into what\u2019s going on more on campus. He can\u2019t be the only one of those great students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stuck is planning on looking into how Baird can work with the Morningside College business department and give back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have 15 fabulous people here who are skilled,&#8221; said Stuck. \u201cThey have skill sets in portfolio building, sales and sales management, and a lot of different areas.
