Philippians 4:13

Philippians 4:13 isn’t really your traditional quote because its a bible verse. The verse reads, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I feel like thats a very powerful verse and I have it tattooed on my chest. I grew up Catholic and have a pretty strong faith so I find that bible verse very important.  Read More →

Mike Vick named the starter in Philly

It’d probably be hard to find anyone not in favor of the Eagle’s starting Mike Vick at quarterback. After Donovan McNabb was traded to the Redskins, the unproven Kevin Kolb was named the Eagles starting quarterback. Kolb got his chance in week one and didn’t prove much to the Philadelphia faithful. He was ineffective in the quarter and a half that he played before leaving the game due to a Clay Matthews hit. After that hit sidelined... [Read More...]

Elwood Olsen Stadium-Final Draft

I chose to do my first story article on Elwood Olsen stadium. I chose Elwood Olsen stadium because I drive or walk by it every day and depending on the time, a lot can be going on. Elwood Olsen stadium, formerly known as Roberts Stadium up until 2005, has been home to Morningside football and soccer games as well as home football games for the Sioux City public high schools. The first time that I went to Olsen Stadium to observe was before my 8 o’clock... [Read More...]

Melo to the Bulls?

It seems like the recipe for success in the NBA is for a team to have a “big 3.” Any team that has 3 all star caliber players can be referred to as a team with a big 3. In 2008, the Boston Celtics got their big 3 when they signed Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to play alongside Paul Pierce. Signing those 3 players worked out as the Boston Celtics ended up winning it all that year. This past year, the Los Angeles Lakers realized that they... [Read More...]

However, fans need not worry because it has been confirmed that these two teams will keep scheduling... [Read More...]
