By Shelby Small–If you like to read, this is your chance to stock up on cheap books beginning this weekend.
Friends of the Sioux City Public Library will be holding its annual Book Lovers’ Sale beginning on Friday, April 22, through Saturday, April 30. The sale will be held in the old Paper Warehouse location next to Red Lobster.
Plan for plenty of time for browsing the hundreds of eclectic titles and unusual reads.The books range from $3 for hardcover to $1 for children’s books. There are also some movies and music CDs available as well.
The hours for the Book sale are as follows:
OPENING NIGHT–Friday, April 22: 6pm – 9 pm, $1 Donation
Saturday, April 23: 10 am – 9 pm
Sunday, April 24: Noon – 6 pm
Monday, April 25 through Friday, April 29: 4 – 8 pm
FREE DAY–Saturday, April 30: Open at 10 am, doors close at 6 p.m. or when books are gone!
