By Diane Nguyen–Student Government Director of Communications Victoria (Tori) Figge is a junior at Morningside majoring in social and behavioral science from Rock Rapids, IA.
As Director of Communications Tori is in charge of group registration forms for new groups and old groups coming to register again so that they may be able to request allocation money. Along with being head of group registration, she is in charge of all Student Government social media. Tori’s committee is the Community Outreach Committee.
Not only would she like to spread the name and good reputation of Morningside College, she would also like to do a better job of getting the students’ opinions. “The more we throw our name out there the more the students know what we are doing for them,” Figge said.
Outside of Student Government Tori likes running, hanging out with friends and family. Along with basically doing anything outdoors.
Student Government Meetings are Tuesday in the in the Student Government Office, located in the lower level of the Olsen Student Center, at 6:30pm.
