Television Review: Greys Anatomy

indexBy Dominique Swanson–Grey’s Anatomy is a widely popular ABC series that has been running since 2005. The series depicts the lives of several surgical interns as they progress through hospital residency.

This series is currently on its 11th season and continues to deliver drama packed episodes that have you sitting on the edge of your seat and waiting for what’s next.

If you enjoy medical soap operas and feed on never-ending drama, this series is absolutely for you. Each season somehow throws unexpected twists and turns your way without falling into the seemingly inevitable of becoming too far fetched.

Of course this series is meant to be a drama, so there is always a new “end of the world” situation happening. For many people, shows where things constantly go wrong tend to disinterest them. In this series, the directors did an excellent job of balancing constant new drama with the day-to-day happenings of the characters in a way that keeps you glued.

After watching just a few episodes you begin to feel a bond develop with each of the characters and it becomes hard to not see them through their troubles.

There is definitely a reason this series has survived 11 seasons and is still going strong. The casting is excellent, though all more attractive than what is realistic, what more can you expect from this type of series.

The only negative thing to be said about this series is that it is highly addictive. If you do not have the time to binge watch 11 seasons of pure amazing-ness, then you should probably still watch it because it is great.
