By Jenni Beaver—Sunnybrook Community Church is bringing the first Elevate Conference to Sioux City February 27th and 28th. Elevate Conference is a church conference for college students.
The Elevate worship band, Revelate, will open up the conference on February 27th at 7pm. The band will play songs from their new album, Citadel, as well as other worship songs.
Amidst the life groups and other conference sessions on the 28th, The Digital Age will be performing and closing out the first edition of the Elevate Conference. The Digital Age is a Christian pop/alternative band. Four of the members are original members of the David Crowder Band.
Tickets for the event are $85 and can be purchased through the Elevate Conference website. People can get in for free if they get ten of their friends to sign up. Elevate college ministry originated within Sunnybrook Community Church and came about because of a small group of college students. Now, on Tuesday nights, Elevate hosts a much larger group of students in The Loft for a night of worship and messages that help students get through the week. Knowing how much students appreciate the group, Sunnybrook Church decided it was time to step things up and host something bigger. That’s how the Elevate Conference was born.
