Are you looking for a bit of silly entertainment as the semester comes to and end? Morningside College Theater will be presenting the children’s musical Rumpelstiltskin Saturday April 21 at 7 pm and Sunday April 22 at 2 pm.
This charming fairytale tells the story of Rumpelstiltskin, an unusual little man, who helps the miller’s daughter spin straw into gold. The show is filled with humor and catchy musical numbers.
“It’s a very cute show,” says director Bette Skewis-Arnett. Although it’s a children’s musical, the show shares humor and music that all ages can enjoy.
The show stars Courtney Ruff as Rumpelstiltskin, Tazalea Scott as the miller’s daughter, Abbie Atkinson as the miller, Alex Quinlain as the prince, and Elijah Wolf and Sam Dailey as the King and Queen.
