What is your definition of objectivity?

Objectivity is neutral coverage on hard news. It is relaying information without any type of bias or favoritism. Being objective is important because your news needs to be attractive to all kinds of viewers. If you show bias your credibility as a news reporter is lost. If you show favoritism people will not trust that you are reporting the truth. A good way of avoiding objectivity is to make sure to not use adjectives to describe a situation. Report the truth and only the truth. Make sure to keep all inner opinions to yourself.
